LUCIANO VARELA
Double bass player from A Coruña (Galicia), Luciano got his Bachelor on Classical Double bass at Castilla y Leon Conservatory (Spain). Besides this academic path, Luciano kept his strong, diverse roots he adquired through years spent performing in the streets, what took him to participate in different projects, classical and modern, throughought Europe and Asia. During his time studying classical music in Castilla y Leon he participated in many Jam Sessions with Latin and Jazz musicians, what discovered him new paths to new styles. All this experiences are the reason he decided to go deep into modern music. He is currently studying Jazz Double Bass at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague
FERNAN MEJUTO
Vibraphone player from A Coruña (Galicia).
He finished his studies on Classical Percussion at the Conservatory of A Coruña and i
s currently studying Jazz Vibraphone at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. He grew up musically in an alternative way, developing his skills in a rock/funk/ska enviroment playing with many different bands. That is pretty important because it was in this path that he learned piano and accordion, instruments he is able to play with confidence so he can keep on moving.
GUILLERMO M. VIANA
Born in Sevilla (Spain) in 1995, Guillermo M. Viana started playing drums at the age of eleven, strongly influenced by his father, a guitar and double bass player. After a few years playing in all sort of musical situations (from Indie to Thrash Metal), Guillermo moves to Dublin (Ireland) to study at Newpark Music Centre where he studied for two years with teachers like Ronan and Conor Guilfoyle or Matthew Jacobson. Once he obtained the Higher Certificate in Contemporary Music in Dublin, he decided to move to The Hague to continue his studies at The Royal Conservatoire, where he is currently studying jazz drums with Eric Ineke.
DANIEL DENIS
Born in Madrid, he started playing guitar at the age of sixteen.
He grew up playing in blues and progressive rock bands where he built his musical intuition.
Some years later he moved to Netherlands, where he is currently studying Jazz Guitar.
At the same time, he’s been close to ska music, what lead him to end up in this band.
